Little Karka ("we", "us") is operated by Piyush Bhatia HUF (trading as SB Enterprises), Empyrean Grande, E-19, Kothewada, Maharashtra 441122, India. We respect your privacy, and this policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit littlekarka.com or shop with us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

Orders: name, shipping and billing address, phone number, email, and order details such as sizes and personalisation text.
Your account: name, email, password (stored encrypted by our platform), saved addresses and order history.
Messages: anything you send us by email, WhatsApp, the contact form or social media, including photos or videos for exchange claims.
Newsletter and offers: your email or phone number, if you sign up.
Reviews: your name, review text and any photos you choose to share.

Information collected automatically

Device and browser type, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, and how you arrived at our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Payment information

Payments are processed by our payment partners (Cashfree Payments). We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking password.

2. Why we use it

To process, ship and deliver your order, and to handle exchanges, returns and refunds.
To send order updates and reply to your questions.
To send newsletters and offers, but only if you've opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To keep our website secure and prevent fraud.
To understand how our website is used, so we can improve it.
To meet legal obligations such as GST invoicing, accounting and responding to lawful requests.

We collect only what we need for these purposes, and by placing an order or signing up you consent to this use. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 6). Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it, but we may not be able to complete an order without the details we need to deliver it.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the store, and only for the purposes above:

Shopify, our e-commerce platform, which hosts our store and stores order data;
payment gateways to process payments;
courier and logistics partners (Delhivery, Blue Dart and Ekart) to deliver orders;
email, SMS and WhatsApp messaging tools for order updates and newsletters you've signed up to;
analytics and advertising tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel), only if you allow these cookies;
government or law-enforcement authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these providers may store data on servers outside India. Where they do, we rely on their contractual commitments to protect it, and we transfer data only as the DPDP Act permits.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the cart and checkout work, plus optional analytics and marketing cookies if you allow them. You can change your choice through our cookie banner (where shown) or your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the store from working.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting laws require (currently up to 8 years). We keep other personal data only while we need it for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete it, and then we delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
correct, complete or update your data;
ask us to delete your data, unless we need to keep it by law;
withdraw consent, including unsubscribing from marketing;
nominate someone to exercise these rights for you in case of death or incapacity;
have your complaints addressed by our Grievance Officer.

To use any of these rights, email littleone@littlekarka.com. We may need to verify your identity first. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Children

We make clothes for little ones, but our store is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their data, please contact us and we'll delete it.

8. Security

Our store runs on Shopify, which encrypts data in transit (HTTPS) and is PCI-DSS compliant for payments. We limit who can access customer data, and we'll notify you and the authorities, as the law requires, if a breach affects your data. No online service is completely risk-free, so please keep your account password private.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page with an updated date, and tell you directly about any significant change.

Refund policy

Every Little Karka piece is made to order, just for you. We only start embroidering after you place your order, so we don't hold stock that we can resell. That's why we can't accept returns or exchanges for size or change of mind. If anything arrives damaged, defective or wrong, though, we'll replace it or refund you. This policy explains how that works for orders placed on littlekarka.com.

At a glance

Damaged, defective, misprinted or wrong item: tell us within 48 hours of delivery, with an unboxing video, for a free replacement or a full refund.
Size or change of mind: not eligible for return or exchange, because every piece is made to order. Please check the size guide before you order.
Refunds: processed within 5–7 business days of approval, to your original payment method.
Cancellation: possible only before your order goes into production, usually within 2 hours of ordering.

1. Damaged, defective, misprinted or incorrect items

Every piece is checked before it's packed, but things occasionally go wrong in production or in transit. If your order arrives damaged, defective, with an embroidery or print error, or with the wrong product, colour or size, write to us within 48 hours of delivery with:

your order number;
an unboxing video, recorded in one continuous take from the sealed parcel to the product;
clear photos of the product, the problem, the courier packaging and the shipping label.

Once we've verified the issue, we'll make and ship a replacement, usually within 2–3 business days plus delivery time, or refund you in full if you prefer. You won't pay anything extra.

The unboxing video is required. Without it, we can't verify when or how the damage happened, so we may not be able to offer a replacement or refund. Claims made more than 48 hours after delivery may not be accepted.

2. Size issues

Each piece is made in the size you choose, so please check our size guide carefully, and message us before ordering if you're unsure. We're always happy to help you pick.

Wrong size ordered: we can't exchange or return it. You're welcome to place a new order in the right size.
Piece doesn't match the size guide: send us photos of the garment laid flat, with a measuring tape showing the chest and length, within 48 hours of delivery. If it's outside our size guide by more than the tolerance below, we'll replace it free of charge.
Measurement tolerance: embroidered garments can vary by up to ±0.5 inch (about 1.25 cm) from the size guide. Variations within this range are normal and aren't treated as defects.

3. What isn't covered

We can't offer a return, exchange, replacement or refund for:

a change of mind, or a size chosen incorrectly;
small differences in colour, thread shade or stitch placement from the photos. Embroidery is made with real thread and screens show colours differently, so these aren't defects;
damage caused while opening the parcel (for example with scissors or a blade), or after delivery through wear, washing or not following the care label;
personalised pieces, unless the error is ours;
claims without an unboxing video, or made after the 48-hour window;
gift cards.

Please don't send anything back to us without contacting us first. We can't accept parcels returned without a pickup we've arranged.

4. Undelivered and returned-to-origin orders

If the courier can't deliver your order and it comes back to us, we'll contact you. This can happen when an address is incomplete or incorrect, no one is available, the phone number isn't reachable, the pin code is unserviceable, or delivery is refused.

We can reship it for a flat ₹100 reshipping fee.
If you'd rather not reship, we'll refund prepaid orders minus ₹50 towards forward and return shipping. Nothing else is deducted.
Returned parcels are held for 30 days. If we don't hear from you within that time, the order is closed.

Please double-check your address, pin code and phone number at checkout. If the parcel looks damaged or tampered with when it arrives, mention it to the courier or refuse it, and tell us straight away.

5. Lost or delayed in transit

If the courier confirms your parcel is lost, or it hasn't been out for delivery within 15 days of dispatch, we'll make and ship a new one or refund you in full, whichever you prefer.

6. Refunds

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days, to the original payment method (card, UPI, net banking or wallet). Your bank may take a few more days to show the amount.
For cash on delivery orders, we refund to a bank account or UPI ID that you share with us. We will never ask for your card PIN, OTP or UPI PIN.
When the issue is our fault (sections 1, 2 and 5), you get a full refund, including any shipping you paid.
If you used a discount code, the refund is the amount you actually paid.

7. Cancelling an order

You can cancel an order only before it goes into production, usually within 2 hours of ordering. Email or WhatsApp us with your order number as soon as possible. If production hasn't started, you'll get a full refund.
Once production has started, an order can't be cancelled or changed, because your piece is already being made.
Refusing a cash on delivery or prepaid parcel at the door doesn't cancel the order. It's treated as an undelivered order (section 4).
We may cancel an order if a product becomes unavailable, we can't deliver to your pin code, a payment fails, or the order appears fraudulent. If we do, we'll let you know and refund you in full.

8. Questions and complaints

For anything not covered here, write to littleone@littlekarka.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact our Grievance Officer, whose details are in our Contact information. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month of receipt.

This policy does not affect your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

Shipping policy

Every Little Karka piece is made to order and shipped from India. Here's what to expect once you've placed an order.

Where we ship

We currently ship to most serviceable pin codes across India. You'll see at checkout whether we can deliver to your pin code. We don't ship outside India yet.

Processing time

Every piece is made to order. Production takes 1–5 business days, depending on the product, and then your order is dispatched.
Business days are Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.

If your order has several pieces, they may arrive in separate parcels.

Delivery time

After dispatch, delivery usually takes:

These are estimates from our courier partners (Delhivery, Blue Dart and Ekart). Delays caused by weather, strikes, festivals or other events outside our control are rare, but they can happen.

Shipping charges

Free shipping on every order, anywhere we deliver in India.
Cash on delivery is available on orders below ₹1,500.

The final shipping charge is always shown at checkout before you pay. All product prices include GST.

Tracking your order

When your order is dispatched, we'll send you a tracking link by email. You can also track it from your account on our website.

Delivery issues

Check your parcel before accepting it. If the package looks tampered with or damaged, please refuse it or note it with the courier, and tell us within 48 hours. An unboxing video helps us resolve claims quickly.
Failed delivery: the courier usually tries to deliver up to 3 times. If the parcel comes back to us because of an incorrect address, no one being available, or a refused delivery, we'll contact you about reshipping it (a flat ₹100 reshipping fee). Full details are in section 4 of our Returns, replacements & refunds policy.
Lost or delayed: if the courier confirms a parcel is lost, or it hasn't been out for delivery within 15 days of dispatch, we'll make and ship a new one or refund you in full.
Marked delivered but not received: contact us within 48 hours and we'll raise it with the courier straight away.

Welcome to Little Karka. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of littlekarka.com (the "Website") and to every purchase you make from us. The Website is operated by Piyush Bhatia HUF (trading as SB Enterprises), Empyrean Grande, E-19, Kothewada, Maharashtra 441122, India ("Little Karka", "we", "us"). By browsing the Website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy policy, Returns, replacements & refunds and Shipping policy. Please read them carefully.

These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and don't need a physical or digital signature.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to buy from us. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must place the order for you.

2. Your account

You can check out as a guest or create an account. If you create one, please give accurate details and keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. We may suspend accounts that are used fraudulently or that break these Terms.

3. Our products

Embroidery is made with real thread. Stitch placement, thread shade and motif size can vary slightly from piece to piece and from the photos. That's part of each piece's character, not a defect.
Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen and on lighting.
Please check our size guide before ordering. Measurements may vary by up to ±0.5 inch (about 1.25 cm). Because every piece is made to order, we can't exchange or return pieces for size or change of mind.
Follow the care instructions on the label. We aren't responsible for damage caused by washing or care that doesn't follow them.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include GST. Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout.
We work hard to make sure prices and details are correct. If an item is listed at an obviously wrong price, we may cancel the order and give you a full refund, even after you've received an order confirmation.
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment partners.
Discount codes have their own terms (validity, minimum order value, one per order), can't be exchanged for cash, and may be withdrawn at any time.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we dispatch it, not when you receive the order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order if an item is unavailable, if we can't deliver to your address, if there's a pricing or listing error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund you in full.

6. Personalised and made-to-order pieces

For pieces embroidered with your names, initials, dates or custom details, please check spelling and details carefully before ordering. We embroider exactly what you submit. You confirm that you have the right to use any text or design you send us, and that it isn't offensive or unlawful. We may decline personalisation requests at our discretion. Personalised pieces can't be exchanged or returned unless they're damaged, defective or not what you ordered. Orders can't be cancelled or changed once production has started.

7. Shipping, exchanges and returns

Delivery, exchanges, returns, refunds and cancellations follow our Shipping policy and Returns, replacements & refunds, which form part of these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

Everything on the Website is owned by Little Karka or used with permission and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. That includes our name, logo, embroidery designs and motifs, photographs, illustrations, text and code. You may view and share our pages for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, reproduce or sell our designs or content without our written permission.

9. Reviews and content you share

When you post a review, photo or comment, or tag us on social media, you give us a free, non-exclusive licence to show it on our Website and social channels, with credit where possible. Please keep it honest and respectful. We may remove content that is false, offensive, infringes someone's rights, or is unrelated to our products.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Website. That includes:

breaking any law or helping anyone else do so;
uploading viruses or other harmful code;
trying to gain unauthorised access to the Website or its systems;
scraping data from the Website;
placing fraudulent orders;
sending spam or impersonating others.

11. Limitation of liability

We provide the Website "as is" and can't promise it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any liability that can't be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for any loss or claim we face because you broke these Terms or misused the Website.

13. Events outside our control

We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, courier disruptions or government action.

14. Third-party links

The Website may link to other sites, such as payment gateways, courier tracking pages or social media. We aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, please contact us first and we'll try to resolve it amicably. Otherwise, the courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

17. General

If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest stays in force. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't waived it. These Terms, together with the policies linked above, are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the Website.
